Detroit police officer arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated

A veteran Detroit police officer was arrested early this morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The female officer, on the force since July 2001, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. in Roseville, Detroit Police Sgt. Eren Stephens said.
