Detroit police make arrest in slain father case

The family of a man who died protecting his autistic son while stray bullets rained around them thanked police today during a tearful press conference for arresting a man investigators believe committed the crime. Dave Adams, 35, was fatally shot March 16 in the front yard of his home on the 14000 block of Littlefield as he tried to get his 13-year-old son inside. The son was unharmed in the incident.
