Community Central Bank of Mount Clemens finally fails

Struggling Community CentralBank of Mount Clemens— where the bank president disappeared last fall and was later found dead with a gunshot wound to the head — finally sank under the weight of its mounting bad loans Friday. State and federal regulators seized the bank this evening and announced that Talmer Bank of Troy had acquired the deposits and most of Community Central's other assets.
