DTE Energy reports 23% drop in Q1 earnings

Detroit— DTE Energy's first quarter earnings fell 23 percent, dropping from $229 million to $176 million, as the Detroit-based utility said today it had lower earnings in its energy trading, power and industrial projects and corporate areas.
