Tigers sweep White Sox

The Tigers carved out a 3-0 victory Sunday afternoon at Comerica Park for their ninth consecutive victory over the White Sox. Pitcher Max Scherzer (4-0) remained unbeaten on a day mixed with brilliance and a bit of wildness. He gave up only four hits but walked three batters in eight innings. He also struck out seven.
